Delicious and quick apple pie by my Grandmother – version 2

Round baking tray diameter: 30cm

Rectangular baking tray dimensions: 23cm x 39cm


4 eggs

250 of margarine

1 cup of white sugar

2 tsp. of baking powder

2 cups of flour

2 tbsp. potato flour

1 ½ tbsp. of pudding mix

700 g of apples

½ cup of brown sugar


You need 700 g of peeled apples which were also cut to dice. Mix the apples with ½ cup brown sugar. Put the mixture away.

Stir margarine with white sugar. Beat in eggs one at time and mix well after each one.

Combine flour, baking powder, potato flour, pudding mix and sieve the mixture. Mix it until completely blended. Set out the cake on baking tray.

Squeeze juice from apples. Put the apples on the cake. Sprinkle a crumble on the top of the cake.


80 g – 90 g of butter, 1 cup of flour, ½ cup of brown sugar, 2-3 tbsp. pudding mix.

Mix all ingredients together.

Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 1700C for 50 minutes.
